About GreenWorks (cont'd)

GreenWorks is all about getting involved in making the little day-to-day choices that help safeguard our environment and improve our stewardship of the planet. It’s about having the information, the commitment, and the teamwork to make the little changes add up to something bigger and more powerful. GreenWorks is YogaWorks’ commitment as a company to use energy-saving, environmentally friendly practices and materials in all our studios. From the mats we stock, to the lighting we install, to the cleaning products we use, we are making greener choices everyday.

GreenWorks is also an ongoing dialogue with our teachers, students and our community. It is our hope to inspire our teachers and students to follow our example and make greener choices. We will be launching a new “Thinking Green” campaign in our studios to share ways you can help conserve energy and protect our vital resources. At the same time, we want to hear from all of you about the things you are doing in your own lives to live greener. We hope to feature some of your ideas in our new Portraits in Green series on the web. As part of our GreenWorks campaign, YogaWorks will be teaming up with other community-minded organizations, like Heal the Bay, to sponsor events and programs that support the Greenworks mission. It is our greatest hope that as a community we will keep learning, talking and working together for a greener, healthier planet, and a better way of life for all the creatures that inhabit it.
