Yoga Instructors
Shopping for yoga instructors is a trial-and-error process that can be made easier when you know what you need. If you are new to yoga, it is best to attend a few types of classes to try different styles. You might find you prefer something meditative over something more athletic or a flowing type of vinyasa movement instead of a series of standing or sitting poses.
We offer the following to help you choose a class and an instructor:
- An online glossary that includes the many different styles of yoga we teach at our studios in Los Angeles, Orange County and New York
- Yoga advisors who will help you design an optimal program
- Instructor bios for you to peruse
Qualified Yoga Instructors
There are no federal regulations for certifying instructors, but we train teachers with the highest standards in mind. Once our instructors complete their coursework and apprenticeships, they take a written exam to become certified. This adds to their credentials and lets you know that they have met our standard requirements before they begin to teach in our studios.
YogaWorks offers yoga advisors to help you choose the right instructor. New students like you often need help finding the right classes to fit their schedules and goals, and our advisors can help you understand how yoga can help your overall well being. Your yoga advisor is valuable on your journey to spiritual enlightenment.
