Things You Should Know Before Your Start

  • We ask that you help us maintain a fragrance-free environment. Please refrain from wearing any perfumes or scented body products.
  • Bare feet are recommended for all Yoga classes.
  • Some of our studios offer shower facilities. Call ahead to find out if they are available at your chosen location. Lockers are not available in most locations but most practice rooms do have cubbies where you can store your belongings during class. It is advised that you do not bring valuables with you to class as YogaWorks is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • An empty stomach is recommended for a comfortable class experience. Wait two to three hours after a meal or a half hour after a light snack or drink. Avoid sipping water during class, but drink plenty afterwards.
  • Yoga mats can be rented before class or purchased at the boutique. We encourage you to have your own.
  • Check in at the front desk, take off your shoes, turn off your cell phone and log in on the signup sheet or with your key card. It is best to arrive 15 minutes prior to class to ensure you have a space.
  • Talk to your teacher. If you’re new, why not enter the studio a few minutes early and introduce yourself to the teacher? Also, please let the teacher know if you must leave early or if you have any injuries or conditions that the teacher should know about
